The Scientific Article Writing Workshop is a full-day intensive workshop held on Day 3 of ICEHP 2026, designed to equip researchers — particularly early-career academics and graduate students — with the skills needed to write, structure, and publish scientific articles in indexed journals.
This workshop is open to all registered ICEHP 2026 participants and is especially recommended for presenters who wish to maximise the publication potential of their conference paper.
Participants will engage with expert facilitators through hands-on exercises covering the complete scientific writing process: from structuring a manuscript and writing each section effectively, to navigating the peer review and publication process in Scopus and Sinta-indexed journals.
Learn how to structure a scientific article following IMRaD conventions and journal-specific requirements, including title, abstract, methods, results, and discussion.
Improve clarity, precision, and academic register in scientific writing. Learn how to present data, interpret findings, and construct compelling arguments.
Understand how to select the right journal, navigate submission systems, and optimise your manuscript for publication in Scopus and Sinta-indexed venues.
Gain insight into the double-blind peer review process — how reviewers evaluate manuscripts, how to respond to reviewer comments, and how to handle revisions effectively.
Participate in practical exercises including abstract writing, revision workshops, and feedback sessions with experienced academic writers.
Learn how to maximise the international reach of your published work through indexing, citation strategies, and academic networking.
Specific materials and preparation requirements will be announced closer to the event. Participants are generally advised to bring:
